Dr. Lauren Crossley, DPT

Physical Therapist - Orthopedic and Sports Performance Specialist

Dr. Lauren Crossley is a physical therapist specializing in ACL rehabilitation, return-to-sport training, and injury prevention for athletes and active adults. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, along with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from James Madison University. That graduate-level training in exercise science, paired with her background as a fitness and strength and conditioning instructor, gives her a depth in exercise prescription and load management that she applies directly to performance-based rehabilitation.

Dr. Lauren treats athletes at every level, from youth and collegiate competitors to professional athletes, as well as active adults working to get back to skiing, pickleball, and the training they enjoy. Her clinical approach is built on defining the root cause of her patient’s injury or dysfunction. She utilizes advanced hands-on manual therapy techniques coupled with strength-based rehabilitation: individualized exercise, progressive loading, and movement education that restore function and prepare the body for the demands of sport. She has taught strength and conditioning and exercise technique at the university level, and brings that same precision to how she coaches patients through proper form, body mechanics, and safe training progressions.

A former field hockey player, Lauren understands the athlete’s side of injury firsthand. She focuses on building strength, clean movement patterns, and the confidence to return to competition or recreation without hesitation. Patients at ASR Brickell take an active role in their own recovery, with a plan tied to their specific goals.

Outside the clinic, Lauren weight trains, runs, cooks, and spends as much time outdoors in the Miami sun as she can.
